For my first nutrition post I HAVE to tell you about my daily Green Juice!
If vegetables aren’t your favorite – like me – incorporating juicing into your diet may be perfect for you…
5 stalks of celery
1 handful of spinach
1 handful of kale leaves
1-2oz of wheatgrass (I buy wheatgrass already juiced and FROZEN from my local health food store.)
Ginger (use a tiny piece only!!!)
Put the veggies and apple through juicer. Add wheatgrass (and optional lemon juice). Stir.
I aim for 1 glass of this juice per day, but the more the better!
Tip: if you can go without the apple, KNOCK YOURSELF OUT! This way you’re cutting out some of the unnecessary sugar from you diet. But, I personally can’t do it. with the apple it’s delicious!
